The New School University Center is a 16-story, approximately 375,000-square-foot LEED Gold building located at the intersection of 14th Street and Fifth Avenue. The New School University Center opened in 2014 and features a unique mix of academic classrooms, student residences, an 800-seat auditorium and retail outlets. Milrose assisted in executing the creation of the building’s “grand avenue” of stairs which connect the first seven floors and are wide and open to encourage mobility and facilitation among students.
The University Center boldly embodies The New School’s commitment to creativity, innovation, challenging to the status quo, and education through social engagement.
