301 First Avenue – The New School

301 First Avenue is a 24-story multi-unit dormitory building located within the East Village of Manhattan. The building was finished in 1969 and is a post-war concrete frame building. It was previously used for faculty housing for medical residents and doctors. In coordination with other professionals, the entire building was fully renovated. Our work consisted of investigating the façade during the 8^th Cycle FISP Inspection and developing a scope of work for repairs to the concrete façade and balconies. In addition, our office assisted with a full window replacement at all floors and storefront redesign.  Lastly, the main roof and second floor terrace roofing membranes were fully removed and replaced and coordinated with the newly installed mechanical equipment and infrastructure.
